My Favorite Conversation Pieces

Oh hi, it’s me…Lauren! If you are like me, life truly begins again after winter when Spring arrives. I suddenly have more energy, a desire to go out to events, and start traveling. I also love Spring as a time to refresh my style and wardrobe. Let’s face it- it is just more fun to get dressed when it is warm and sunny out! In the past month or so, with all the pieces that I have been acquiring, two have made for conversation starters everywhere I go. As soon as I put them down, I get questions and comments, so I thought it would be fun to showcase them here and explain what makes them fun and special!

The Mercer Bag by Freja

Without a doubt, the Mercer Bag by Freja has been one of my best purchases this Spring! It is incredibly useful and holds a lot, the leather is beautiful, and it’s incredibly chic for a modest price point- under $300. The shape of the bag is what catches everyone’s eye and makes it a fun conversation starter everywhere you go! The shape of the bag is called east-west, and is a trendy style with luxury brands like Alaia and Magda Butrym. However, the price of this bag makes the trendy style accessible to many more looking for budget-friendly options!

Phone Case and Lip Tint by Rhode

I will not take credit for finding this piece, but when I saw my ultra-chic friend, Michelle, pull out her phone, I knew I needed to copy her! It is such a great idea to have your lip gloss or lip balm attached to your phone. My lip balm always gets lost or buried in my bag. Now, I never will be without. The mint green color is also so lovely for spring. Plus, when I tell you that nearly everyone who sees this case comments on it, I am not exaggerating! It is just the cutest, and most practical idea!
